1. Platform Responsibility: PriceMart is a marketplace that connects buyers with sellers. We do not own or sell the products listed on our platform. All transactions occur directly between buyers and sellers.
2. Product Descriptions: Buyers are responsible for carefully reviewing product descriptions, images, and asking any questions prior to making a purchase. Communication with sellers is encouraged to ensure clarity.
3. Accurate Shipping Information: Buyers must provide accurate shipping details to ensure successful delivery. PriceMart is not liable for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect shipping addresses.
4. Additional Fees: Buyers may be subject to additional charges such as taxes, shipping fees, or customs duties, based on their location or seller's policies. These will be clearly stated at checkout.
5. Payment Security: Payments are made securely through PriceMart. Once a product is delivered to the buyer, the seller will receive payment. PriceMart disburses payments to sellers after confirming delivery.
6. Buyer Protection: PriceMart may offer buyer protection programs to ensure safe transactions. Buyers are encouraged to review the terms and coverage of these programs before purchasing.
7. Returns and Refunds: Buyers can return or exchange products in accordance with PriceMart's return policy, or the seller’s individual return policies. Ensure to check seller-specific terms before purchasing.
8. Reporting Issues: Any issues such as damaged goods, incorrect orders, or missing items must be reported to PriceMart's customer support within the specified time frame for resolution.
9. Fraudulent Activities: Buyers are strictly prohibited from fraudulent actions like using stolen payment methods, submitting false claims, or maliciously requesting refunds. Legal action will be taken against violators.
10. Personal Data Usage: Buyer data may be used to improve user experience on PriceMart and is handled in accordance with our privacy policy. PriceMart will not share personal information without buyer consent.
11. Account Security: Buyers are responsible for maintaining the security of their PriceMart accounts and ensuring their login credentials are not shared with unauthorized parties.
12. Fair Usage Policy: PriceMart reserves the right to suspend accounts that misuse services, including placing excessive or suspicious orders that disrupt the normal operations of sellers.
13. Dispute Resolution: PriceMart provides a platform for resolving disputes between buyers and sellers. However, PriceMart does not guarantee the resolution of disputes and encourages direct communication between both parties.
14. Prohibited Purchases: Buyers agree not to purchase items that are illegal, restricted, or violate intellectual property rights. PriceMart reserves the right to block or remove any listings that infringe on laws or policies.
15. Indemnity: Buyers agree to indemnify PriceMart against any claims, losses, or damages that arise from their use of the platform.
16. Agreement: These terms and conditions represent the complete agreement between PriceMart and the buyer, superseding any prior agreements.
17. Updates to Terms: PriceMart reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Buyers will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the platform will imply acceptance of the updated terms.
